Check with your tech... They might be willing to give you a break if they can get the wholesale price?

Also, did you see the clearance on a children's taller adjustable from Jansen?

I have a message in to my tech, probably will hear from him on Monday.

I wonder if you can get wholesale price on the Jansens Artist bench when you have to select all the options? And just how much the wholesale discount will be …

Well, time will tell!

I have a stool I use for things other than the piano which has a seat that is rarely used.
It is sturdy and easily adjustable. Mine has a hard seat. I bought a cushion, but don't always use it.

This looks like mine except for the cushion.

Ron, no I totally missed that, thanks!

Hmm, it’s like a quarter inch too tall… I will get a book or something and see if that height would work…

I have the CPS for my digital and am perfectly happy with it.

Here’s a thread on it

Jon, thanks for the link, your thread was pretty informative!

Do you know the model number of the CPS bench? Either that or a link to it? CPS has several iterations on their site, and IIRC Amazon does not currently have the high gloss models.

TIA!!

Thanks Jon!! That’s the one that goes up to 21.5 (they have another model that doesn’t go up that far).

Well so far, lots of people own a CPS, but I haven’t found anyone who owns a non-Jansen bench that they bought from Jansen.

Thread hijack! Jon, I love the rug in your Clavinova picture. Very knit themed. Now I want it for my studio.

This is not a helpful post, but when I got my new piano I paid for the Jansen duet spiffy bench and I've never regretted it. Every time I sit down I'm happy. Smiler

Maybe not for now, but definitely a treat for sometime for you, perhaps? I just got mine about ten years ago.

AdagioM, good eye, that is a great rug Jpn has!

Nina, thanks for commenting...

I just can't justify the $$ for the Jansens... If I can be convinced that their imported benches are "good enough," then that's what I'll get. Either that or else the exact same CPS model as Jon has.

Well, I do need to wait to hear from my piano tech, maybe he has some inside info.

Anyway,

Thank you. It’s modular (tiles) so you can fit any space. We first used this brand for our main living space in Brooklyn.

Thanks for posting that info, jon. Have just been looking into something similar from a Shaw commercial line. Flor has a nicer selection....

did you do your own mix/match, or was that particular selection something that Flor packages for you?

(sorry for more drift, SK....)
