It's very good entertainment. Drama with action, not comedy. Even by cop/man hunt movie standards, it gives you a lot of excitement. Beyond some blood and gun violence, there is not much else to make any one uncomfortable. It entices you to think a bit (e.g., trying to guess who are the ultimate bad guys) but you don't really need to think to enjoy the movie. Exciting (but not unbelievable) action sequences, no CGI. Good character development with an exciting plot, with good acting and a story well told, this is a good movie competently done. If you like to see cop/man hunt movies where the righteous cop eventually nails the perps, this movie is for you. Enjoy!

The Un-Trigger warning: Unlike the other cop movie "Black and Blue" that makes "cops mistreating black people" an important theme in the movie (which I also enjoyed), this movie "21 Bridges" has none of that. There is no racial tension in "21 Bridges," it is a pretty straight cop/man hunt movie with no attempt to convey any social justice message along racial line.
