Totally accurate. Our Euro and Canadian friends are shocked that there isn't a national response, and (news flash) our testing rate isn't "one of the best."

We have a president who doesn't understand what per capita means, for starters.

Here's what this administration could have done or prioritized at the national level but either didn't, or started and stopped, or undermined:

PPE manufacturing priorities (even if there ar shortages and problems with the supply chain)
PPE distribution
Testing protocols (who gets tested, when and why)
Ventilators (production and distribution)
Vaccine development
Consistent stay at home orders
Consistent social distancing and/or mask wearing
Re-opening based on science
and most importantly, modeling the importance of all of this instead of acting like entitled jerks and refusing to wear masks even inside hospitals

It's so incredibly infuriating.
