I think we may have talked about these shirts, and in fact I think Mik may have told me about them.
You’ve seen them - mostly on retired guys sitting around in beachside bars and marinas at places like Newport Beach. “Hawaiian style” mostly. Loose fitting, lightweight, large patterns in muted colors. $120 new - more than I am going to pay for a shirt.
The sad fact is that because mostly retired guys wear them they’re commonly available at estate sales, which means they’re commonly available on eBay for about $25, even new with tags. They haven’t really changed in 50 years so style isn’t a problem.
The synthetic golf shirts I wore in CA are miserable in the summer here - too humid. I normally wear tee shirts but bought a couple for dressier deals - nice!
Only downside is that they mostly require ironing.

MikhailohYeah, you do not want to wear synthetic fibers here. Cotton please. Glad you like the Spooners. Excellent men's wear.
