Interesting podcast (and book) about policing and the automobile
The episode of 99% Invisible is a few months old but I just listened to it this morning. It’s about how the rise of the automobile also made policing what it is today. It was really interesting and reminded me of a discussion we had here a while back about busted tail lights and police brutality against Black people. Definitely worth a listen, and I think I may have to read the book as well. Here’s a link to the episode page: https://99percentinvisible.org...icing-the-open-road/
