Squeegee the shower door glass after a shower. Yes or no?

Yes, time permitting.

Used to use a squeegee, but after having to deal with hard water in the vacation home that left mineral deposits everywhere we developed a different technique. We wipe down everything (doors, walls, plumbing fixtures, and shower base) with a microfiber cloth. No soap scum, no mineral deposits, no mildew on the caulk. We redid the bathrooms 25 years ago and they look like new. Never need any harsh chemicals to get crud off. Well worth the two minutes it takes to wipe everything down.

Sometimes, but usually just wipe it down with my towel.

I think you only need to do this if you have hard water (we don’t).

The solution is no shower door. You walk into the shower at Bob's. The only door is a large sliding glass door on the other side of the shower. It is far enough from the shower that is does not get much spray. There is a walled space open to the sky on the other side of the glass. Plants would be nice in that space. The same outdoor wall also encloses space for the similar shower in the other bathroom. My place has shower curtains and liners treated with some sort of microbe killer that is probably not good to be around.

I have been in hotel rooms in Europe where there’s no enclosure at all. It’s just a tiled corner of the bathroom with a drainage hole on the floor and a shower wand with a flexible hose. You just learn to spray yourself without getting water everywhere.
