Today I learned that the recycling waste is not supposed to be put in the bin in a plastic bag, but instead thrown in loose.

How many years (decades) have I been doing it wrong? Bang Head

My local recycling facility does not accept shredded paper.
The local guideline here is to throw shredded paper away along with regular trash.
