Splits from the Southern Baptist Convention

I'm of two minds about this.

1. This has to get at least SOME conservative evangelicals' brains to start functioning in order at least to process this.

2. 2016 was some revelation to her? She suddenly saw the white supremacy and misogyny at the heart of conservative evangelicalism?

It's worth remembering that the reason there is a 'Southern' Baptist Convention in the first place is that they split over slavery in the mid 19th century.

Stream of consciousness thinking from me.

1. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
2. Not all evangelicals are of the white supremacy/misogyny stripe. Many are, but not all.
3. Better late than never.
