Seems a bit premature/presumptious to be announcing his VP pick, no?
Well, he got his final delegate the other day. He's just sitting at home these days. It would be nice if he would
do something.11 June 2020, 10:44 AM
QuirtEvansI imagine the advice Biden is getting is this: if your opponent is shooting himself in the foot daily, don't interrupt him.
In other words, do NOT change the subject. If Trump wants to be stupid and outrageous, let that be the story for the news cycle.
If Trump ever starts behaving rationally, THEN start trying to make news and take attention away from him.

Piano*DadI would be very content with Duckworth getting the nod. She has some advantages and some deficiencies relative to others, but her advantages could be stark depending on how the campaign is framed.
If it's framed as an a-woke-ning, she will be seen as lacking. If it's about restoring comity, ethics, and notions of (military) service, she will leave Trump and Pence as little piles of ash on the pavement.
It's also very easy to imagine President Duckworth.
