I have a Google Pixel if that matters...

My problem is I get Gmail in my Yahoo account (they asked me to link them, or no go).

I tried starting from Yahoo's actual site and still got my Gmail.

Any advice?

So which account do you actually want to receive on your phone?

To remove an account (if that's what you want to do) then you go to settings, then accounts. Select the account you want to remove, then "remove."

If you only have one account, then that's an odd issue that I don't know how to fix. I'm assuming when you go to accounts you will see at least two, your gmail account and your yahoo account.

This has nothing to do with the platform of phone. It is a Yahoo/Google thing.
