Steve MillerSeawall videos
I stumbled on some YouTube videos where a previous owner re-graded the lot and built the seawall at the lake house. It’s an incredible amount of work - hard to believe he spent that much $ on it.

big alWas the house being flipped? That seems like an awful lot of work by each of the owners for a very ordinary house. Is the location particularly in demand?

Steve MillerThe guy who made the video bought it to flip. He sold it to the guy we bought it from - who did all the work on the inside, moved windows and doors, added the garage, re- roofed and re-sided it.
He planned to live there forever but his circumstances changed and now he wants to live closer to the city.
Houses with proper sea walls are in demand. Those without them sell pretty cheap. Storms on the lake have become more violent and houses that have been there for decades are now seeing their back yards disappear - some fairly quickly.
