Trump wanted to build walls to keep foreigners out. The Trump White House ended literally fencing itself in. This is not a precaution against some foreign threat, this is an administration distrusting and fearful of the American people.

H Street to Constitution. 17th to 15th. That's quite the fortress.

But will he make Mexico pay for it?

I was depressed when I found out that Pennsylvania Avenue was closed to car traffic. I think it was Dubya that did that. I used to drive that block regularly when I lived in DC. Heck, I even drove E street between the South Lawn and the Ellipse.
