We actually saw that pub in Pompeii a few years ago. It really is a remarkable place - my favorite of the trip. The degree to which it was preserved is hard to believe.

There is even political graffiti on the walls.

Love how they refer to that recipe as "simple by Apician standards." He had high standards!
