Bernard's suggestion is a great one; it's amazing how much difference switching out the hardware can make.

Since Mr SK is proving to be a quick study on these home improvement projects, he might want to consider swapping out the hinges, too!

WOW, that looks great! What a difference those colorful tiles make. (I would have been very fretful about the color arrangement; I’m glad Mr. SK already has it done.)

Mr. SK was pretty methodical about picking the colors. He laid them all out, moved them around before affixing anything. And he has a very good eye for that kind of thing.
