We've now got about as many reported cases as northern Virginia. Our first death came yesterday.

My wife works at the local public clinic, serving Ob-Gyn patients. They're not seeing patients any more in person. Only phone consults. You can't get good prenatal care over the phone.

We were shopping today. My wife used her elbow to nudge someone's cart a foot or two out of the way so she could reach the apples. The woman came back and berated my wife for touching her cart. Rather than backing down, my wife told her, in no uncertain terms, that an unattended cart wasn't sacrosanct. People are getting ... snippy.
