The Menards home improvement store near me. I briefly wondered why they were storing lumber in the front; thought maybe they were full up in back.
Sometimes I'm a little slow on the uptake...

pianojugglerThey must have heard that businesses were boarding up their storefronts. The took it a little over-board.

The racks in the back yard are empty. They moved the inventory to protect the store from looters.
There was looting at a couple of suburban malls. I had heard that a Menards way north of me was doing this, but that store is near a mall that closed down when things were getting dicey a few days ago. I didn't realize the chain must have decided to be proactive to discourage looting.
The local Target closed at 3:30 a couple of days ago.
We've had no looting in my immediate area, but some businesses had their windows broken. They all appear to be random acts of vandalism; the businesses are along major roads in the town.
