I am from an earthquake zone. That house might take a quake well, but I would expect, "Your house needs about $250,000 of work." on its
"foundation", quake or no quake.

love this. the interior cosmetics are pretty awful, but that can be easily changed. i don't know why realtors think this all-white or all-gray palette is attractive, but it is not. I want to see color and originality in an interior.

the deck with the trees coming through is just outstanding. and it is surprisingly affordable, which makes me wonder if there are issues on the disclosure sheet....

I didn't read the whole description, but my first thought was that it resembled an Outer Banks beach house built upon stilts rather than on any kind of slab foundation. That house may not have anything resembling a traditional foundation.
