Bacon is one of the basic food groups in Lithuanian cuisine. This may be taking it a little too far. May I present bacon schnapps? https://junemolloy.com/2021/09...es-please/#more-7323

Can't be worse than peppermint. We're just used to that.

I'm in. A number of years ago I taught a class for a customer based in the Middle East and one of the students was originally from Cape Verde. The second morning, he was about 15 minutes late for class. I asked him if everything was okay. He said he had stopped in the cafeteria for breakfast and discovered they had bacon. He hadn't seen or tasted bacon in a couple years. Growing up in Cape Verde, bacon was one of the basic food groups. He finished his breakfast, then went back for two more orders of bacon and savored each bite, thus he was late to class. I had a product called Bacon Salt. It is salt with bacon flavoring, but doesn't contain any actual bacon. I stopped at the grocery store after work and picked up two bottles. I gave them to him to take home. https://www.baconsalt.com/prod...-original-bacon-salt

The Bacon Salt sounds intriguing, especially the cheddar. If it's at all palatable, it could be great on a baked spud. pj....how is the stuff? Worth ordering a bottle to try?
