Two moderator slots are opening up here at WTF on the Groupee platform. Quirt and I will be hanging up our moderator hats. It's time to pass the torch to someone else.

My target date is August 25th.

If the forum wants to keep three moderators in place, a couple of people will need to step in and take our places.

As someone who is only recently restarted posting with any frequency, it does not seem to me that the place needs three moderators. With three current and with two stepping down, one should more than suffice, imo. Even none doesn't seem a problem to me.

I wouldn't blame anyone for not wanting to do it especially since Matt is MIA and the lights could go off at at minute.

Personally I don't complain to the moderators. Not only that I can't remember the last time a complaint when through the complete moderation process.

Quirt has been great at keeping the trolls out and the forum on lock down. Thanks for that, Quirt. I wish you were continuing but wish you luck in your future endeavors.

No, I'm not. I'm just a regular!

The big difference with the new place is that the site owner/admin, Ax, is there, present. If there are any problems (technical or otherwise), he can handle them.

Well, the other big difference is that the new site is much, much easier to use and offers a far better experience because the platform is up to date.

In terms of standards and rules, I'm not sure but I don't think there's anything posted specifically at new-WTF.

The thing is, right now, it's a very small group, so I don't think it's needed, since the site owner is there and keeping everything running smoothly.

I don't know that moderators are necessarily needed here at old-WTF either, for that matter.

But if there are any problems (technical or social/interactional), there's no one here who can fix them.

BTW who is the third moderator here? Is it PJ? Has he been here lately? I hope everything is ok with him!
