AxtremusPlant Identification (need help)
I have this plan, pictured below, blooming on my window sill and I have no what it's called. Would appreciate if any one can clue me in on what it's called so I can Google it later to learn more. Thanks in advance!

wtg Clivia miniata. It's related to the amaryllis; they are both in the lily family.
I've been growing them for more than 25 years. I got one plant at Home Depot years ago and have propagated more plants from the seeds.

DanI got this app to try to identify all the weeds in my pasture. It's called PictureThis. Basically you take a picture of the flower/tree/grass/weed and it identifies it. It's done a good job in that the weeds I had positively identified, it agreed with me. I'm constantly testing it though.
So I took a picture of your picture Ax. The app says "Bush lily, a species of Natal lilies. Botanical name is Clivia miniata". So wtg nailed it, and I have yet another confirmation that the app does a good job identifying stuff from photos.

wtgGuess it was inevitable.
I've been replaced by an app.

Axtremuswtg, app or no app, we still love you.
The radiologists who read/interpret x-rays, on the other hand ... many of them will be displaced by AI and nobody loves them. Most patient can name their doctors, but almost no one can name any of the radiologists who interpreted their x-rays.

Aww....thanks, Ax....
Clivia are quite lovely. One of my favorite indoor plants.
Unlike the amaryllis, the plant is attractive even when it's not flowering. It doesn't grow from a bulb so it doesn't lose its leaves.
If you let the seeds develop and ripen, you can plant them and grow more plants. They're not terribly difficult to propagate but they are slow growers and take years to flower.
