Yeah, I think it was a mirror piano.

I think it was just really dirty. the blogger said he had stored it in his garage for awhile.

I backtracked the jpg and found this was taken in London.

"Highgate Cemetery, a 37-acre gothic Valhalla, houses over 52,000 graves—850 of which are notable, including Karl Marx, Douglas Adams, George Eliot, Michael Faraday, and George Wombwell. The cemetery is separated into an Eastern and Western section—the Western Cemetery being accessible by tour only"

But WHAT might be Thornton's claim to the piano world ?

Ron, do you think that the Kawaii is gold or silver and clear. Plexiglass? The setting is perfect for it. Why hard to keep clean?

I remember when I taught at Baldwin Studios umpteen years ago, they had a complete plexi upright on display. I was so intriqued with being able to see the innards working as I played. I loved it and for years wanted to have one. (that was way back when my tastes in furniture were creative!)
