From an ebay listing:
"1883 Fischer Full Upright Piano. At some point, double sconces from Paris were added."

Look at the side of the piano next to the treble. It curves around the keyboard. I've never seen that before. Really very pretty and graceful. Quite a remarkable piano.

Yep, that's mine. Ain't she purty? 1864. I read your story. It was heartbreaking.

How does it play? How do you feel it compares with more modern pianos?

Yes indeed, you wan to find a tech who will love it.

For the three that don't sound, do they just make a click? If so, you probably have broken hammer shanks - they're bird-like in construction. If the sticky keys are adjacent to the non-sounding keys, it may be the broken off shank and hammer are the cause, but you never know.

Somebody was somewhat correct about the tuning. It was originally tuned to A435 instead of A440, and it should be kept at A435.

That makes sense. Actually, in at least one case, the non-sounding key is next to a double striking key. One makes a click.

I haven't even looked, to tell you the truth. It's just for show. I play my Charles Walter and just look at the square
