An Extraordinary "Museum Quality" Mid-19th Century Art-Case Marquerty Grand Piano by Broadwood & Son, Serial 16294. Circa: 1845. this very fine marquetry work on this art-case depicting humming birds, baskets of flowers, butterflies and fruits was hired by Her Majesty Queen Victoria on July 10, 1845 for a four day event at Buckingham Palace, London.

Thanks Steve, I hear there are plans afoot to build the most unimaginably big telescopes in the near future; there is hope then, pianos are sure to be discovered on Venus or sticking out of an icy comet - I hope this is soon because the world is a small place for a community of pianos and before long they will all know each other by name...

A re-purposed Grand Piano
We re-purposed this old grand piano frame to become a very lively conversation piece. Nice trim done on three sides. The cushion is made of extra-firm tempur pedic material. Lined with an all black cow hide cover. The back edge contains flip up lid for extra storage.
