This piece reconfigures the well-known solo instrument into a circular and group playing device. All materials were salvaged from the San Francisco dump including a working ibook computer, upright piano parts and a dell computer keyboard micro-controller.

Evans Bros. Piano
Made of solid and veneer mahogany, this Evans Bros. piano was hand-carved and of a limited edition, only two of which are now known to exist; it received honors at the 1910 Chicago World Fair.

Backwards piano man plays Mario theme like a boss
Since he was 14, pianist Jason Lyle Black has been honing the unorthodox technique of playing the piano while sitting in reverse. Can you imagine all the muscle memory you'd have to fight against to pull off such a feat? I guess it wouldn't be much different from crossing your arms during play, but it's impressive to watch nonetheless.

Big Grin

Composer Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco got ideas for themes by assigning note values to cards and then tossing them down the stairs.
