The Olympia, an art case Steinway designed by Dale Chihuly for the 2002 Olympics.

It was also featured on The Genuine Article, TV show Tivo recorded for me that shows how Steinways are made.

The last time I went past there, this piano was in the window of the Steinway dealer in Seattle (which is one block down from Alex's store).

It was actually the couple in the background of the other carving that caught my eye.

In Battements et papillons, a tinfoil-gilded piano is manipulated by an electronic, Borg-like controller that reaches out tentacles to the keys from inside the bench.
