Piano picture of the day
Notice anything "unusual" about this beastie?

1949 Winter Spinet

(This was the first piano I did any significant work on.)

You gave it away by identifying the make of the instrument. I immediately looked for the Alluminum plate. Like Steve Van Natten says, an alluminum plate is like a makerel in the moonlight: Its shiny, ... ... and it stinks! Big Grin

Actually, all joking aside, how was the alluminum plate? Did it seem to work OK? How was tuning stability?

The musician played with such emotion, the piano fainted!

Or... what does this button do?

Or... you're sure the piano is clear of the lift?
