Brian Becroft Making a Piano is funThe video was shot in Christchurch, but I wonder now if it has been flattened by the devastating earthquake or not - I live 15hrs drive time away, so OperaTenor, I am safe and so is my Imperial, but sadly cases like the CTV building bring the reality home, I believe there are 100 people lost in there...

Brian Becroft Silent Piano - - Can anyone here identify this piano sitting in the vaults of our City Museum?
Chances are there is an entire orchestra lurking in the museum’s storage areas. Alas, like us, many of those beautiful instruments are now too old or delicate to be played. I came all the way from England many years ago, only to find myself packed away and never played. Such a sad story…
