BTW, not sure what make, but it IS as "square grand". Note how it has four legs in a rectangular pattern.

It's probably one of those giraffe-type upright thingees. It has been stretched though...

Thanks, Zorba for giving me a break from digging for pictures!

Here's my old Thompson upright (built in Chicago in the early part of the 20th century) Never refinished, but has some nice carving on the front.
