Brian Becroft Cosmic vision for a piano Erin Johnson plays a piano he painted for his senior art project at the Ringling School of Art and Design.Months in the research, planning and design, it still took three all-nighters for Ringling College of Art and Design student Erin Johnson to finish his senior thesis project: an art-case baby grand piano covered from keyboard to legs with images ranging from medieval to New Age.
The Beckwith piano, about 100 years old, is detailed with 18-karat gold leaf and painted with a combination of acrylics, colored pencil and pen-and-ink. A bare-breasted angel heralds the coming cosmic events.

I really enjoyed her art and gardens and of course the piano enlarged to see the details. Josie must be quite a character - take a peek at her as well!
Loved the ballerina table and pool!
B&B rather expensive. 350 for one night.
Piano must be cement as other scultures are.
So glad you posted Brian!

Brian Becroft Peacocks and pianosNot sure if I like one more than the other...
Could not find any story for these pics, this first one I'd especially like to know more about the piano.
Linderhof castle - music room peacock and pianoMust be one of the most amazing Artcase upright pianos in the world. From the little I can find out about it, the description is an Aeolodion (an instrument combining piano and harmonium)

Methinks that is not a piano. No plate. Methinks that are a harpsichord.
Not that there's anything wrong with that. Some of my best friends are harpsichords.
