I picked this up today. Great stuff, lots of Texas honky-tonk (not quite as torchy as Norah Jones), but with a wide range of influences to be heard. A great bluesy voice, not smoky, but powerful and clear.

Matt, where do you learn about new music? We have but one half decent radio station here (WCLZ) and I pick up a few things from the various NPR shows that invariably air when I am not listening normally, but my best source of late has been Paste Magazine, which comes with a sampler CD: www.pastemagazine.com
