Nan, the craziest thing I've ever done? I'm pretty conventional, so things don't get too crazy here! But probably our trip to Vietnam was the craziest. It started out as a lark, when a friend invited us to come visit. I suggested it to Mr. AM, and he said yes, and then I didn't want to go! But we did go, and the other end of crazy is that we only spent a week there. Two or three weeks would have been better. Next time...

I still haven't decided what I want to be when I grow up! I've never had a burning desire to be defined by any particular type of work. I have been really lucky that I've been able to explore things that interest me without having to make a living at them. Knitting interests me (I know, what a shock) so blog about it and teach knitting at the local yarn store, and design and sell my own patterns in some local shops and on the internet. I love music, and am currently teaching a music and movement class for ages 0 to 3 (with parents) at church. That's something I never thought I'd do, but it fell into my lap when I couldn't find/hire someone to do it for us. And it's really fun.

I've been lucky in my job at the church because I've had lots of opportunities to explore. I'm the education coordinator there, and I choose curriculum, find teachers, organize events, lead discussion groups, sing with my Day Old Pastries, organize retreats...all good and fun things.
