I'm sorry she left us too soon. Thank God she had her family and loved ones with her.
RIP, dear Mary.

Frank just asked if I had her address or knew of any plans.
I do have her address and will share PM for those who wish to send cards.
Whomever knows of the memorial plans, I am sure will share with us and we can pass that along.
I am in such grief, I cannot see straight. I have been crying since Th eve and have not slept for 2 nights.
Mary is the second friend I have lost to breast cancer (spreading). I lost my best friend from HS as well. What a horrible horrible disease.
And it was so unfair for someone as beautiful as Mary.

As sad as this makes me I can't even imagine the heartbreak of her family. The only comsolation is that she was so loved and everyone had the chnce to tell her that. I. Am glad she's no longer suffering.

Beautiful RF.
I recall her love for the Sibelius melody and this rendition from the you tube below. She said it was one of her favorites. It somehow seems fitting today.
Be still, my soul: the Lord is on thy side. Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain. Leave to thy God to order and provide; In every change, He faithful will remain. Be still, my soul: thy best, thy heavenly Friend Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.
Be still, my soul: thy God doth undertake To guide the future, as He has the past. Thy hope, thy confidence let nothing shake; All now mysterious shall be bright at last. Be still, my soul: the waves and winds still know His voice Who ruled them while He dwelt below.
Be still, my soul: when dearest friends depart, And all is darkened in the vale of tears, Then shalt thou better know His love, His heart, Who comes to soothe thy sorrow and thy fears. Be still, my soul: thy Jesus can repay From His own fullness all He takes away.
Be still, my soul: the hour is hastening on When we shall be forever with the Lord. When disappointment, grief and fear are gone, Sorrow forgot, love’s purest joys restored. Be still, my soul: when change and tears are past All safe and blessèd we shall meet at last.
Be still, my soul: begin the song of praise On earth, believing, to Thy Lord on high; Acknowledge Him in all thy words and ways, So shall He view thee with a well pleased eye. Be still, my soul: the Sun of life divine Through passing clouds shall but more brightly shine.

In case my question from the previous page is missed:
Is there something we can do? Donate money to the charity of her choice? Make a donation as a group from WTF in her name? To a cancer research organization?
It might be too soon, but let's keep this in mind and if anyone has any info, please share it here.

SK, Rich has also suggested a memorial on PW. Either way, I'm in.
