That is HILARIOUS!

And I'm a bad person - I posted in a whole new thread before I saw this!

Ok! Liam was quite distressed that most of the adults knew he was a Harry Potter character, but not specifically Draco Malfoy. Though several kids he didn't know made comments about how he made a great Draco, so he was happy.

My favourite - him being his goofy self:

Liam did not enjoy the hair dying process, but likes the results. My stylist would be horrified that I turned his hair that box-dye-yellow. Big Grin

Yep - I made the robe, painted stripes on the tie, whittled the wand, and foraged for the rest of his costume at Value Village. My mom knit the scarf. Smiler

Dol, oh my gosh, I didn't realize your son's not blond! What color is his natural hair?

Beelady, love the Attack Mosquito! If he had come to my door, he would have gotten 10x as much candy as anyone else!

You guys are so creative! Dol, the Draco costume is inspired. Liam really does it proud.

Hallowe'en was weird here--maybe because it was on a Saturday? Both kids had parties to go to and did that rather than the trick or treat thing. (I think my son and a gang went around in the very nearby neighborhood where his party was, but that was about it.)

However, we blasted through two gigantic Costco bags of candy in about 2.5 hours--because of interlopers. Yes, that's it! Interlopers! We were inundated by kids whose parents drove them into our neighborhood from elsewhere. They'd come in waves--about a dozen at a time, including parents who were trick or treating for their babies. As in infants. Hmmm.

The truly irritating thing--our prime time trick or treating occurred during the Oregon - USC game, which was a pretty amazing game. If you've lived in Arizona for more than 2 weeks, you begin to develop an extreme dislike for the athletic programs at UCLA and USC. I think they must put something in the water. Anyway, I was happy with the game. Go Ducks! happydance

Adagio M! ROTFLMAO

(Did he have to throw up on cue, and mutter, "Who the hell is Wolf Blitzer?")
