BTW, if you want to know how your posture is, take a bunch of photos.... holy cow, the ones I've shared here are mostly ok, but some of the photos that I nixed right away are horrible! I need to work on standing up straight!

/thread drift start

A physical therapist recommended the following two exercises for improving posture. She said just pulling back your shoulders and trying to stand straight won't work.

Cat and Cow:. I do ten of the combination, alternating cat and cow.

https://www.yogajournal.com/po.../backbends/cow-pose/

Opposite arm and leg raise. I hold the extension for a count of 7 and do five repetitions every day.

Takes no time at all and I noticed a huge improvement in my posture.

Thanks Steve!!

WTG, I will look at that, thank you!

The difference in the photos where I'm standing up straight and the ones where I'm not are really something. I probably look 10 pounds lighter and 5 years younger in the photos I shared here compared to the slouchy/droopy ones! Yikes!

Thank you!!!!

BTW, I used the app AdagioM mentioned, Snapseed, and there's a "pop" option and also something like "face correction (mine shows up in Japanese, it might be named something else in English)

Anyway, both of those make my neck look really dirty ROTFLMAO

The portrait option is ok, and also the iPhone's "vivid" option isn't bad either.

Maybe I'll send three versions (of same pic) to the publisher and let them choose.

I think I'm going to go with 0802 that's by far the winner here and Mr SK likes it.

He also likes my "professional" headshot from 4 years ago, but I just don't want to use that. I think I feel like I should use the most recent one possible....

I like 804 as you have a tilt to your head and it not quite full on face front.

I have been told, imagine yourself holding a tray in front of you, palms up. Then rotate the hands outward so that the shoulder blades squeeze.
