I should move to the coast. But which coast?

The Venetian Coast! The picture is of a shop where they repair gondolas, taken when we visited Italy in March of 2018. I didn't care much for Venice overall (commercial and crowded) but there were little gems hidden here and there that I did enjoy.

The lighting in the shot is what I like best, and Matt did a great job with the colors!

I thought it might be Venice. Looked a lot like photos that my friend took when she did her Fulbright research there.

Nice decor!

What a beautiful and unique scene! Gondola repairs - a part floating shop from history. Bike shops all over the Bay Area, in Venice - these rare vehicles of tradition.

Venice is in my mind, a magical, haunting place. Reminding me of Mann's "Death in Venice" and FTM all the literature that revolves around Venice's rare charm.

(Yes, the colors are lovely - shimmering blue and variations of gold.)
