She's one of those people whose impact went far beyond her fame. She founded a breast cancer research center and advocated for screening clinics in Australia after she was diagnosed. She advocated to legalize medical marijuana in Oz in order to help cancer patients manage their symptoms and improve quality of life.

I think that's her fitting legacy, personally.
