I wonder how much of this technology will trickle down to less expensive units?

IIRC, Bowlus was formed shortly after Airstream to be a direct competitor. Their alien-face rear end was an acquired taste, and not very practical. The front door can simplify the layout some, but eliminates the ability to have a full-width bed. I don't see any pictures of the front on that site.


If I had a fat wad of cash to blow on an RV, I'd get a 1967 VW bus and kit it out with a solar panel, all LED lighting, a couple good batteries, and a Porsche engine. Arctic White over Velvet Green.

Or a rebuilt Airstream Bambi and something decent to tow it with.
