Ever watched the Beatles Anthology? It was a series of about 8 hour long episodes on TV at one point. I missed it then, but have just started watching now and it is quite fantastic.

I have been subjecting myself to 30 minutes of exercise on a Nordic Track ski machine in the early AM and endure the pain by watching concerts and videos on a small Sony DVD player. I just started this Beatles series and marveled at the first hour--all about their early start in Hamburg and so forth. Lots of good concert footage.

Special note to JonNYC: The Beatles were a very popular band in the 60's and 70's. They came from England.

It is a great series. I think I'm going to get it for Mr. Nina for the holidays this year--if I can afford it!

I watched it on TV--even the kids got into it.
