'The University of Florida graduate assistants’ union tweeted a message of “Solidarity with New College students, faculty, and staff as DeSantis appoints a card-carrying fascist to the presidency.”'
The building in the background is on the New College campus, a mansion built by Charles Ringling, John Ringling's brother.
It was originally used as the library. A philanthropist eventually donated the money to build a new one.
