This from Ukraine's Got Talent.

Anyone know what it says at the end?

I think this was actually linked here before. It is so amazing! And the story so heartbreaking. I don't know if there are more people who do this, but there was a sand animation TV commercial in Japan at one point, always amazing to watch (but the artist was obscured, so that's one thing that's nice about this one)

Not that she's not skilled, but I don't get what the story is about. Is she recounting Ukrainian struggles like a Jew recounting the exodus or a kid recounting the rise (and death) of the Fallen Transformer? Blink

Well, the other sand animators are not as cute as this one.

I am very impressed by her rapid movements sketching out the crowds somewhere around the 2:00 mark. Very efficient, very economic use of movements there. ThumbsUp

What a strange and marvelous talent. I had no idea such a thing existed.

She must have been relating some story with tragic elements guessing from the teary-eyed people seen part way through.

Considering it the year she wrote at the end was 1945 I would guess it was WWII.

First "sand animation" I saw was this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQaM_dsOY3M

And that was in 2003.

Apparently "sand animation" as a performing art is getting a larger followings now. Having a fresh, cute face like Ms. Simonova's will likely increase its popularity even more. Smiler

I am fascinated by this art form.

Seems like negative finger painting is as important as the positive...in fact, couldn't exist without it
