Reminding me that despite already removing over 20 lbs of pine cones from my attic, I have to remove two or three times that now.

My own industrious varmints have "squirreled" them away since then. (Well-invented verb!)

We had a squirrel who would squirrel away (go figure) only the sunflower seeds from our bird feeder. Not anything else. We found the stash in a small area on the deck where they had just started to gnaw a corner of the siding away. Fortunately we caught it early.
