I understand the anxiety of waiting. It's like standing in line for a life boat on the Titanic.

I was relieved to get my first shot and am looking forward to number two in 10 days. After a waiting period, I plan to see some people that I haven't seen in about a year.

The announcement that there should be sufficient vaccine for all adults in the US by the end of May is good news. Hopefully the wait for everyone will not be too long. I know that it feels like hoping to not be the last one killed in the war.

Why is your forecast for immunization so far out, Dol?

I feel like I got punched in the arm by a heavyweight boxer, but other than that I feel fine.
