Last week was the 15th anniversary of WTF. It came and went and we didn’t even comment.

Makes sense; we were born out of vicious political arguments about G. W. Bush in the Coffee Room at Piano World.

And it seems we haven't had a new member join in years.

We must not be very interesting in the search results on the various search engines.

The group of regular posters is sort of smaller but mostly consistent, so that's really nice! And maybe people like Dale will come back.

In the meantime, Happy Anniversary Friends!

I was barely there, just beginning to view, when it closed down so didn't really know what that was about...

And then these two picked up. I tried both.

Stayed here.

I know why a few have left... sadly.

I first participated in PW in the ABF and I wasn't aware of the Coffee Room for a while, and then, when I did see it, it was near the end, and I didn't post much. I am sure I heard about WTF from Cindy, bc I interacted with her in the ABF, but I'm not sure why I never really got in the habit of checking the other place.

There are a few people who have left that I miss very much. I won't name names. I'm sure it's a pure coincidence, but many of them live in SoCal. I think some drifted away, some left abruptly for various reasons.

I really do miss them. A lot.

It has gotten to be a pretty small group, but I think it’s pretty astonishing that it’s survived at all.

My original thought was that it was fun, but that the group would not survive the 2008 election.
