While surfing the net rather than work on a small project I have been putting off, I ran across this article.

Pretty much sums it up.

That article is too long, maybe I’ll read it later.

Was told when in law school that attorneys are the worst about procrastinating.
I am still putting things off far too much.

I really like reframing it not as time management but as mood management -- that is so helpful, esp. with the little tasks where it's not that the task will be time consuming, but there's something unpleasant lurking there.

Reading this article actually helped me yesterday. I am so good at putting off the tiny tasks that probably will only take 15 minutes or so to do, but they the ones or are likely to get me frustrated (because they usually mean logging into some website and figuring out how to get something done that I haven’t done before, or did once last year and don’t remember) - anyway one of those tasks came up yesterday and I started to put it on my to do list, and then just went and got what I needed (credit card, passport) to complete it (it was renewing my TSA precheck) and did it and it was easy. SO much easier than I made it out to be in my head. Big Grin
