Clearly this agenda doesn't lack funding and wasn't put together by politicians, e.g. DeSantis.

This is very different than DeSantis’s “anti-woke” law.

This UNC initiative is a liberal, pro-feee speech move. DeSantis’ law was explicitly silencing people, and even got slapped down for first amendment violations.


I absolutely support this, and was happy to see FIRE (the modern day ACLU) come out with model legislation on the topic.
