Need an adjective to describe something with lots of heft, carry lots of momentum, and moving with determination, with an air of inevitability.
Imagine an aircraft carrier or the world's biggest ocean liner going full speed ... not necessarily fast (e.g., not like a fighter jet or race car), but it's big and bulky and nothing is going to stop it. I'm looking for a word to describe something like that.

Positive or neutral, not sure if I've ready to favor weight or size ... just want to convey some sense of it being massive, but also something that's moving, hence "lots of momentum" as described in the opening post.
I bet they have a word for this in German, since they combine words to get just the right meaning.

Apologies ... it's for a piece of music (that's not ready for publication yet). Was hoping to find a word that's a bit more descriptive than the usual Italian terms like "adagio" or "moderato."
