Ok, we went and saw some TVs at the store and Mr. SK decided he wants a bigger one. Ole

I think we're going to get this one:
TCL 49" series 5
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079...wEAAAAAAAAAAVb6&th=1

There's an almost-the-same one at Best Buy, but the remote is different. And I don't have points at BB.

We'll probably order it tomorrow, so if anyone has any last minute advice, please share! Smiler

Big Grin I’ll let him know that’s an option!!

Maybe we should watch it too. It’s narrated by a super famous actress.

Dunno. Just lucky, I guess.

For some reason I'm thinking that someone here posted about it many moons ago. Might have been Quirt...

There's an HD version, too, so double-check which one you're selecting when you go to watch it.

I didn't try it, but might be interesting to watch both the HD and the UHD versions (just samples of each) to compare the pictures.

Might have been. Smiler

I don't remember doing so, but I use camelcamelcamel all the time.

You can also set price notifications so that it'll let you know when the price falls below a certain level.

I signed up for camelcamelcamel and entered in all of the stuff I usually buy. I had no idea that prices varied so much month to month.

Slick! ThumbsUp

Well, thanks to the research in this thread, I bought a 43 inch TCL for my mother today.

I didn’t realize until yesterday that my mother was watching Netflix on her phone, and her 20 year or older television didn’t have inputs for a Roku. So I had my daughter buy her the television and install it for her.

So did you buy an easel to install the TV on?

SO much cooler than hanging it on the wall.

Easels are best if you’re standing. She watches in bed. The old television was on a dresser, the new one took its place.
