Meet Murphy. He's a 3 day old F-1 Sheepadoodle. 50/50 Sheepdog and Standard Poodle.

For the record, I think getting another dog right now, especially a long haired 80 pound dog, is crazy. Sharon, OTOH, has been spending a lot of pandemic time on line; researching them and longing for one. She subscribes to several different dog accounts on Instagram and Facebook, and spends hours looking at them.

I don't think she has been this excited since the grandkids were born, and there is no way I am going to get in the way. Besides - we haven't had a puppy in a while.

There are no heart emojis here or I would have used them! Can’t wait to watch this little guy grow!

The previous litter turned out handsome. Steve, remind me, do you or don't you already have a dog right now?

Mr. Pique just looked at the pics and declares he wants a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon crossed with a mini horse.

I've been yearning for an Airedale puppy myself. There's a rancher north of here who breeds a line of Airedales that keep grizzlies off his place.

I get your hesitation. Puppies are a lot of work to raise up to be good citizens.

Want. I’m with your wife.

(Except I’d need to find the time to raise a puppy properly.)

We do have a dog, Sam, but he's been kind of mopey since Dallas died.

We used to have Airedales and we liked them a lot. Great dogs if you can give them enough exercise, which I'm sure you will. Ours liked to dig, and I think that's true of most terriers.

I love terriers--grew up with them--but had forgotten about the digging!

What I'm more concerned about is how a second dog (we still have Winnie the Pooch, our McNab) changes the dynamics of the household--not always for the better. I want a new puppy to bond with me, not my adult dog. Plus Mr Pique is a dog wrecker--he spoils them.
