TJs usually has both.

I'm also fond of the Italian Truffle Cheese. It's a mildish semi-soft cheese with bits of truffle in it.

Just came back from there. Suffice to say this thread inspired my purchases. ThumbsUp

My Costco usually has Cambozola. It's a cross between Camembert and Gorgonzola... like brie and bleu, but if I recall correctly, it's made in Germany. Good stuff.

Cambozola, yum! And very reasonably priced at Costco.

St. Agur is a lovely creamy bleu, and especially nice drizzled with honey.

Fromager d’Affinois is a favorite here. Brie-like, but a little milder.

Picked up some Montchevre crumbled goat cheese at Costco today. Really nice. I often buy crumbled feta, but this looked like a nice change of pace.

What other cheeses are like that? Surely you’ve heard of feta cheese? It’s made from sheep and goat’s milk. It’s a soft, salty, crumbly cheese with a very strong tangy taste. It’s popular in Greece. Some grocery store deli counters carry it. Buy it by the block and pay by the weight. There are three variations sold in stores: domestic, Bulgarian, and Greek feta cheese with domestic being the least expensive and Greek being the most expensive.

Slice the goat cheese, drizzle with honey and sprinkle with orange zest. With crackers. So good!

Yes to feta! The best omelet is made with feta and tomatoes.

If you like blue, potted Stilton is to die for. It can be $$, but worth it.

Another Costco find, Black River Blue Cheese Crumbles. The Costco-size tub is $6.99 (IIRC) for a pound and a half.




Very nummy on everything. I plan to grill a steak and top it with the crumbles...
