Woke up today with an "after" feeling. As in, the day before I'd woken in a world in which that brother was alive.

And now it was so different.

It's especially hard to process because our relationship was so troubled. (It all changed overnight after our father died. Literally.)
Kind of a pathological reaction on his part. He said:
"I now realize three things:
One, Dad ruined my life.
Two, I hate him.
Three, You're just like Dad."
(I'm not, FWIW)

That was that. Only there were massive repercussions since Mom then put him in complete charge of family assets (she didn't even attend the reading of the will.) POA.

I'm trying to remember the period when we were good friends. Nice things he did over the years.
Also, when we were children, playing together. (And admittedly, enduring things together.)

I really appreciate your support, and kind comments. Thanks, guys.
